How to spend 2 weeks in Brazil

AS YOU MAY KNOW, BRAZIL IS ONE OF THE LARGEST COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD WICH MEANS IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO ​VISIT IT ALL IN TWO WEEKS. BUT DON’T WORRY! THIS ITINERARY IS PERFECT FOR PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO VISIT THE ​ICONS OF BRAZIL, BUT ALSO RELAX AND ENJOY THE MESMERIZING VIEWS THAT THIS PLACE HAS!

Brazil is a country full of diversity! From the famous Copacabana Beach, to the Amazonia and the Christ Redeemer Statue, ​Brazil is in my opinion, a country full of surprises!

Now let’s talk itinerary! If you only have 2 weeks in this South American paradise, DON’T WORRY! I have the perfect plan ​for you!

day 1: rio de janeiro

spend your first day in the famous city of rio de janeiro! while ​you will probably be a little tired of your plane ride, relax on ​copacabana or ipanema beach for the afternoon after your check-​in at your hotel or your airbnb. sip a good caipirinha and have a ​tipical brasilian hot dog while enjoying the hot weather of brazil.

day 2: rio de janeiro

for you second day in rio, start strong by visiting the famous ​christ redeemer, one of the seven wonders of the world! Take the ​train to climb the corcovado mountain and admire the magical ​view! after that, go see the colorful stairs in santa teresa, named ​escadaria selaron and take your best pic!

start the day by going to the botanical garden where you can see ​the largest palm trees and then go eat at parque lage! i would ​recommend booking a table if you want to eat at this place ​because it tends to be really crowded. At night, enjoy a samba ​show in the animated streets of this vibrant city!

For your last day in rio, go to tijuca national park to do a little ​hike (i recommend pedra bonita hiking) or just to see the ​waterfalls and the nature of rio! later go to sugar loaf mountain ​also cald pao de acucar, where you take a cable cabin to climb to ​the top! go at sunset time to watch it!

day 5-6-7: buzios and arraial do cabo

on day 5, drive to buzios, a small city beach who is really popular ​towards brasilian! i would suggest to rent an airbnb there. enjoy ​the beaches, relax, do some snorkeling with turtles and some ​paddle boarding! on day 6, do a quick drive to arraial do cabo and ​spend the day there! there are some beautifull beaches such has ​praia do pontal do atalia. also, go explore gruta azul!

day 8-9-10: paraty

for day 8, drive to paraty! i know it’s long, but it is soooo worth ​it! paraty is a small colonial city protected by unesco. go explore ​the colorful houses, do a boat tour and on day 9, do a little ​drive to the city of trindade! at this place, enjoy the famous ​natural pools.

day 11-12: sao paulo

enjoy your 2 last days in the popular city of sao paulo! go visit ​parque ibirapuera, sé catedral, mercado municipal amd avenida ​paulista. don’t forget that this city is very crowded! it is in fact ​one of the most populated cities of the world!!

BEST THINGS TO DO IN TULUM

You are planning a trip to Mexico soon? Especially in Tulum! I got you!

It is no surprise that Mexico is a beautifull country full of activities to do, but which one are really worth ​it?

This parc is a real natural wonder! I only went to this parc for one day, but let me tell you that I would have spend more time there. This place is a natural parc ​where you can do so many things I can’t tell them all. You can do snorkeling, boat tours, see and swim different kinds of animals, walk in garden, swim in cenotes and ​much more! I would recommend this place to everyone from families to couples or even if you are alone! You will find something at your taste for sure!

While in Tulum, I would also suggest doing a boat excursion especially Catamaran! These boats have a big net at the top where you can lay on and get sprayed by ​the waves of the ocean. These tours are usually one day long and include a lunch, snorkeling in a coral reef and another activitie! For example, the one I did also ​included paddle boarding in a little bay.

Go along the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea to explore the ancient Maya Ruins of Mexico. Mayans ruins perched atop cliffs, providing ​dramatic vistas of the Sea and historical insights into ancient trade. Prepare yourself for heat and sun exposure.

This attraction is probably one of the most touristic place in Mexico because it is one of the seven World’s Wonders! This pre-Columbian city was built by the Maya ​people. If you love architecture and history, this place is for you!

White sands and clear waters lined with palm trees, This beach features snorkeling with marine life and turtle sightings, amidst a lively atmosphere.

This calm and relaxing laggon is a well-kept secret among the locals and is known to have some of the best waters in Yucatan. This place is a transparent, shallow ​lake with shining waters circling a deep cenote.

out of all of my travel destinations, cuba is the one i did the most. this one was my 6th trip to this beautiful country and ​was my favorite one. i went to cayo coco, cayo santa maria, varadero, holguin and havana, but trinidad has something ​different. i think what makes it so special is that this city isn’t as touristic as the other cities.

HOW TO GET TO TRINIDAD

to get to trinidad is what’s kinda tricky about this destination. there are two options by flight: landing at cienfuegos or at ​santa clara’s aiport. from cienfuegos it’s about 2h30 by bus but there are less flights to this city. from santa clara, it’s 4h by ​bus. personally, i landed in santa clara and the bus ride wasn’t that bad, but if you can land in the closest city, it is even ​better!

ACCOMODATIONS

cOMPARED TO OTHER PLACES IN CUBA, TRINIDAD DOESN’T HAVE A TON OF ALL-INCLUSIVE HOTELS. hOWEVER, DIRECTLY IN THE CITY, THERE AR ​A LOT OF HOTELS SUCH AS IBEROSTARS. I PERSONALLY STAYED AT THE BRAND NEW MELIA TRINIDAD PENINSULA WICH IS AN ALL-INCLUSIVE ​RESORT AND LET ME TELL YOU THAT EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, YES YES, YOU HEARED ME RIGHT. MELIA HOTELS ​IN CUBA ARE PROVIDED BY SPAIN AND PORTUGAL, SO THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD. IT REALLY IS THE PLACE WHERE I ATE THE BEST IN CUBA! ​THIS HOTEL ALSO HAVE LOTS OF RESTAURANTS, POOLS, ACTIVITIES AND THE BEACH IS SPECTACULAR. YOU CAN SEE THE MOUNTAINS OF TOPES ​DE COLLANTES FROM THE BEACH AND THERE ARE A LOT OF CORALS REALLY CLOSE FROM THE LITTLE DOCK THAT THEY MADE!

AS I SAID EARLIER, THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. THERE WERE SUSHIES, JAPANESE SPECIALITIES, LOTS OF DESSERTS AND COCKTAILS WERE GOOD.

NOW, KEEP IN MIND THAT I WAS IN A RESORT, IN THE CITY, THE SITUATION MIGHT BE DIFFERENT WITH ALL OF THE FOOD PROVISIONS ​PROBLEMS. BUT PLEASE TRY THE CUBAN SPECIALITIES LIKE THE CUBAN LIBRE COCKTAIL!

WHAT I WAS THE MOST IMPRESSED BY ABOUT TRINIDAD IS THE NUMBER OF ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO! LET ME TELL YOU THE ONES I DID! I ​WOULD RECOMMEND ALL OF THEM, I HAD SO MUCH FUN!
